Westmoreland County IDD Awareness Wellness Event

Westmoreland County’s 2019 IDD Awareness month theme is “Health and Wellness!" We plan to use this opportunity to share Health and Wellness related resources and activities in the center court area of Westmoreland Mall while celebrating diversity and community integration. Our goal is to continue to celebrate our consumers’ individuality and eliminate negative stigma surrounding intellectual disabilities. We invite you to come out and join us as we will have interactive games and demonstrations for people of all ages! We also encourage you to sign our pledge to end the "R-Word" [retard(ed)].
