Pop-Up Studio – Cardboard Bas Relief

This is a low relief carving using humble cardboard as your medium. You’ll complete a design/drawing to be placed on the cardboard, which will then be carved with an E-xacto knife to reveal the texture below. Confused? Intrigued? Join us for this fun studio project that will leave you amazed at how refined cardboard can really be. Pop-Up Studios are fun opportunities for adults, ages 18 and above, to get in touch with their inner creativity. Each class explores different techniques and media. No previous art experience is needed. Wine, beer, snacks and materials will be provided. Cost: $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
