Combining passion for a subject with the skills to communicate it effectively among multiple audiences is a complicated and constantly-evolving discipline. The onset of our current “digital age” and the requirements of Industry 4.0 have drastically changed the role of traditional methods. Communication design is now an eclectic discipline composed of rhetoric & composition, art, technology, and sociology. It develops the message and creates new media channels to ensure it reaches the target audience.

In this short seminar, we will discuss and learn how to quickly and effectively improve the ways we convey information such as:

• Writing emails and letters to get efficient results

• Documenting and interpreting data for accurate and persuasive impact

• Utilizing social media for quantitative and responsive outreach
