Bushy Run
The Battle of Bushy Run is significant for our area: It was the turning point of Pontiac's rebellion, and it opened the gateway to the West for settlement. Bushy Run was the only two-day battle between Native Americans and the British. Ultimately, it destroyed the morale of the Native Americans to mount a concerted effort against settlers and the British.
