Our crisis response team is accepting applicants for Crisis Operations & Compliance Coordinator. Using your experience intervening in mental health crises, dispatching, and auditing and organizing, you will ensure smooth operations of the Hotline & Mobile Crisis Units across Agency crisis hubs and for ensuring Crisis Unit compliance according to regulatory standards. Westmoreland Community Action is a non-profit organization that works to connect individuals and families to opportunities and resources throughout the community to improve their quality of life and help to reduce poverty in the community. This is accomplished through housing, counseling, support, education, intervention, collaborations, partnerships, information, referrals, and networking.
Mental health crisis services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in an effort to provide support, resources, and crisis intervention to individuals and families experiencing a crisis, or know someone who is. Calls are answered by a trained crisis worker who will identify the crisis and assist with support, offer resources about community services, and treatment providers. The Mobile Crisis Team provides face-to-face intervention, assisting those in crisis during a variety of situations, addressing such issues as suicidal and homicidal ideation, concern for friend or family members, and behavioral health concerns. Mobile Crisis services are available to adults, children, and adolescents in Westmoreland County who require face-to-face intervention in the community.
Qualifications:
Annual salary based on years of experience: $51,750.40 - $56,638.40 ($24.88 - $27.23 per hour).

REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO SAFELY PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION OF CRISIS OPERATIONS & COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR:
Physical requirements - Push/pull, lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity - Perform moderately difficult manipulation - typing, filing, and writing.
Coordination - Perform tasks, which require foot and/or hand/eye coordination - driving a car, typing data entry.

Speech - Articulate with extreme accuracy - employee/participant relations, phone contact.
Vision - Read small print, drive a car.
Hearing - Receive verbal instructions, answer phones, intercom, communicate with staff/participants.

Attention span - Able to attend to task function for more that 60 minutes.
Conceptualization - Able to understand and relate to theories behind several related concepts.
Memory - Able to remember multiple verbal and written task assignments given at beginning of a period extending over long period of time.
