Community Guidance Center is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families seeking help for mental health challenges. Our team of qualified professionals offers a wide range of trauma-informed therapeutic and rehabilitative programs, including psychiatry, counseling for mental health, and counseling for drug and alcohol use disorders (in select locations). Group therapies for clinical and nonclinical diagnoses, programming for partial hospitalization (adult and adolescent), case management, early intervention resource coordination, and supports coordination for intellectual/developmental disabilities are services provided to our consumer base across various locations.
In 2019, we completed the rigorous certification process to become Sanctuary Model® certified through the Sanctuary Institute of Yonkers, NY. CGC obtained recertification status in 2023, and again in 2025.
