DESCRIPTION:Come and join us on August 16\, 2019 from 10:00 AM  to  2:00 PM at Medmark to celebrate with a Ribbon Cutting. \n\n\n\nThere will be carnival games\, food trucks\, a therapeutic pony\, face painting. a DJ and live music\, and FREE snow cones.\n\n\n\nThe ambitious undertaking combines fun for kids (and all ages\, really) with information-gathering for adults in just about every area. That includes addiction\, job opportunities\, education\, therapy and help for women in abusive relationships.\n\n\n\nAmong the organizations scheduled to be at C.A.R.E. are the Westmoreland County Drug Overdose Task Force\, the Blackburn Center\, CareerLinks\, the Westmoreland County Drug and Alcohol Commission\, Head Start\, Habitat for Humanity\, Private Industry Council\, and Southwestern Pennsylvania Health Services. In all\, around 40 organizations will participate in the event that organizers have been putting together since January.\n\n\n\nThis event truly offers something for everybody. And it is a great way of bringing the community together. Mark your calendar!
